About This Concert

Raphael Wallfisch, one of the world’s most celebrated cellists, will perform all six of Bach’s Unaccompanied Cello Suites in two recitals on two consecutive nights at St Mary’s Church, Winchfield.

Both concerts start at 6pm.

At the beginning of each recital Raphael will discuss the Suites and explain their place at the pinnacle of the cello repertoire.  http://www.raphaelwallfisch.com

The proceeds of this concert will be used to provide support to Ukraine via the DEC (Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal)

Recital 1: Saturday 30^th September        Concert starts at 6pm                      Suites 1-3

Recital 2: Sunday 1^st October                   Concert starts at 6pm                      Suites 4-6  

Tickets: £25 each or £40 for both concerts. Under 21s: £10. Tickets include refreshments served during the interval.
